Content block types
Content blocks are more static in nature and require you to manually update and add information. For example, the text block requires the manual input of the required text.

Smart block types
Note: As of 20th April 2026, the following blocks have been deprecated in favour of the new Newsflow block: Announcements, Latest announcements, Annual reports, Investor presentations, Updates, and Discover. Existing blocks will continue to work as expected.
Smart blocks automatically update when new content is published. For example, the Newsflow block updates automatically whenever a new announcement or update is released.

Newsflow also introduces greater style flexibility, giving you more control over how your content is displayed. For example, you can now present updates in a table layout or display announcements in a grid.
Announcements
This allows you to filter your ASX Announcements into a dedicated block that shows only specific ASX Announcements.
This gives you the flexibility to choose the type of announcements you want to display.
The features and customisation options for each are outlined below.
All announcements
An automated feed of your ASX announcements. You can customise the heading and choose how they are presented including table, list, grid (2, 3, or 4 columns), or featured report.
Financial reports
Displays your financial report announcements in one place, including Annual reports, Half yearly reports, and Quarterly reports (cashflow & activities). You can customise the heading and choose how they are presented using a range of style formats including table, list, grid (2, 3, or 4 columns), or featured report.
Investor presentations
Displays your most recent investor presentations automatically. You can customise the heading and choose how they are presented using a range of style formats including list, grid (2, 3, or 4 columns), or table.
Categories
Displays announcements filtered by a specific category. To use this option, categories must first be assigned to your announcements. Once set up, simply select which category you want to display in the block. You can customise the heading and choose how content is presented including table, list, grid (2, 3, or 4 columns), or report format.
Latest announcements
Displays your three most recent announcements released to the ASX. You can customise the heading and choose between two style formats, a 3 block grid or a featured announcement layout.
Updates
Displays all your published activity updates. Select a content option below to choose which updates appear in the block.
All updates
Displays all your published activity updates in one place. You can customise the heading and choose how they are presented including table, list, or grid (2, 3, or 4 columns).
Categories
Displays updates filtered by a specific category. To use this option, categories must first be assigned to your updates. Once set up, simply select which category you want to display in the block. Combined
Displays announcements and updates together in the same block. Select a content option below to choose what appears.
Latest
Previously known as Discover, this option displays your latest investor presentation, annual report and update all in one place. You can customise the heading. Content is presented in a 3 block grid layout.
Categories
Displays announcements and updates that share a common category. To use this option, categories must first be assigned to your announcements and updates. Once set up, simply select which category you want to display in the block. You can customise the heading and choose how content is presented including table, list, or grid (2, 3, or 4 columns).
A note on style combinations
Some styles are tied to specific content type and content option combinations. When switching between combinations, the block will automatically apply the best default style, but you can always go to the Style tab to change it.
