Want to understand how you can increase your placement estimate and pool of s708 investors?

Placement Report

Your placement report has been structured to provide you with a better understanding of your estimated placement demand from internal, external and additional potential s708 investors, already sitting within your register.

The report is broken down into 3 key sections:


Estimated placement demand

Here, you'll find an estimate of your available demand that you could tap into when raising capital via a placement. This calculation is based on 2 factors including your existing registered investors and an estimate of potential available demand from a pool or external s708 investors. Our capital raising specialists also provide insights into the breakdown of each of these estimations.

  1. Registered investors*

    This is essentially your 'chairman's list' of investors. This group of investors have registered as sophisticated or professional through the sign up to your investor hub and have uploaded a s708 or AFSL certificate, which an admin account from your company has verified.

    *Note: These investors are registered sophisticated investors only. Prior to any capital raising / sensitive information such as placement distribution, you (the Company) and/or a broker will be required to confirm ID and bidding entity status, consistent with s708 / AFSL certificates.

  2. External s708 investors

    If requested, here you'll find an estimate of available placement demand from a group of external, confirmed, sophisticated investors, provided by our team of capital raising specialists, current at the time of request.


Potential investors

This is a key component of your placement report, as it indicates the number of potential sophisticated or professional (s708) investors you have already sitting on your registry, allowing you to grow your chairman's list.

We analyse several characteristics about your shareholders such as how long they’ve been supporting your company and their trading history, to understand how many of these existing investors are potential s708 investors.

View this list of potential s708 shareholders by clicking 'export list'. Here you will see the shareholders' names, email addresses and phone numbers (if available), HIN and address. If there are investors on this list you know are confirmed s708 investors, we suggest reaching out, or notifying us and we can tag them as confirmed s708s in the system.

πŸ’‘ TIP: By converting these potential s708 investors to confirmed s708 investors, you are increasing the total available capital within your control. Therefore, any future placement you may wish to conduct will in turn reduce the required external capital and hence reduce your broker fees.
