Webinars

Webinars allow you to host live or pre-recorded sessions directly through InvestorHub. They are useful for investor presentations, Q&A sessions, results briefings, or thematic deep dives.

Note: This is an additional Upgrade Plan that can be added to your Core Plan. If interested, please call your Client Success Manager to discuss additional costs.


1. How to create a webinar

  1. Go to Engage → Webinars → Create webinar.

  2. Choose your webinar type:

    • Public – discoverable on your hub and optionally gated by login or registration.

    • Private – accessible only via a unique shareable link.

    • Pre-recorded – upload a recorded session and schedule it to go live at a set date and time.

  3. Enter your webinar title.

  4. Select Create webinar.


2. How to select the type of webinar you need

Select the type of webinar you would like to hold:

  1. Public: discoverable through your Investor Hub website and option to require login or registration to attend.

  2. Private: closed webinars for limited/exclusive audience. Not publicly discoverable through your Investor Hub website and only via a unique shareable link.

  3. Pre-recorded: record your webinar offline with no live attendees and upload to schedule on a particular date/time.


3. How to configure your webinar

You will see two editable blocks: Settings and Details.

Settings

Select Edit to update:

  • Webinar type

  • Date and time (including time zone)

  • Registration options

  • Discoverability

  • Pre-webinar questions

  • Automated email reminders

Details

Select Edit to update:

  • Title

  • Cover image

  • Description

  • Downloadable documents

Add Webinar Smart Block to Hub

Make sure the Webinar Smart Block is added to your hub via the Hub builder so that investors can find your webinar.

In your Hub Builder you will need to add a Webinar smart block to a Hub page.

  1. Go to Engage → Hub Builder → Edit Hub

  2. Add a new page called 'Webinars'

  3. Add the 'Webinar' Smart Block

Ensuring Visibility of the Webinar

In the Webinar settings that under 'Webinar discoverability' the Smart Block is set to 'Visible'.

Webinar Top Banner

In the Webinar settings that under 'Webinar discoverability' you can enable a Webinar Top Banner that will display at the top of all of the Hub pages with the heading 'Register for our next webinar! Go→'.


4. Roles in the webinar

There are three roles that can be used when using the Webinar, see details of these below:

  1. Broadcasters

    1. This is available to users who have backend access to the Hub

    2. They can view all the attendees on the webinar

    3. They can view all the questions

    4. They can share their screen

    5. They can change the roles of speakers and viewers

    6. They can send messages to everyone

  2. Speakers

    1. They can view all the attendees on the webinar

    2. They cannot view all the questions

    3. They can share their screen

    4. They can send messages to everyone

  3. Viewers

    1. They cannot see attendees on the webinar

    2. They cannot view all the questions

    3. They can only see their own questions

    4. They cannot share their screen

Note: The Viewer and Speakers can access the Webinar using the links, as detailed below.


5. How to share your webinar links

  • The Broadcaster is only available to users who have backend access to the Hub. These Broadcasters are able to view all the questions from attendees and can view all the attendees on the webinar

  • Use the Viewer link in market communications or LSE announcements to encourage registration.

  • Use the Speaker link for guests who need studio access without backend permissions.

Once everything is set, select Schedule webinar.


6. How to promote your webinar

Once your webinar has been scheduled, it is very important to tell your investors about your webinar, so that you have many viewers. The more viewers you have, the most likely you are to have a successful webinar.

These are the steps that is recommended you follow in order to create a successful webinar:

  1. Create a page on your hub that is dedicated for all your webinars

  2. On this page, have a tile for each webinar, on this tile you will include:

    1. details for the webinar, start time, topic

    2. thumbnail image that is representative of the topic of the webinar

    3. invite people to sign up for the webinar, share the viewer link, so that they can use this to attend the webinar

  3. Invite investors to ask questions prior to the webinar

    1. the Hub will have the ability for your investor to ask questions directly to management, that can be answered during the webinar

  4. Use the above tile and webinar page and included in your promotions for the webinar that could include:

    1. LSE Announcement

    2. Email to the contact list

    3. Social posts


7. How to run your webinar

  1. Select Studio to enter the webinar room.

  2. Enter your name and select Go live (this does not start the actual session).

  3. Use the bottom toolbar to check:

    • Microphone

    • Camera

    • Background options (please note that custom backgrounds on the webinar are not supported.)

    • Screen sharing

    • Polls or quizzes

    • Chat and messages

    • Participant list

    • Additional settings

When you are ready to begin:

  • Select Start webinar to go live.

  • Select End webinar once the session is finished.


8. How many people can attend your webinar

Hub-based webinars have the capacity to host 1000 unique attendees, allowing for greater engagement from as many investors as possible.


9. How to publish your webinar

  1. After you have concluded your webinar, select the Edit button under Webinar replay

  2. Use the drop down menu to select the Webinar recording (or choose Upload a video or Use a video link for pre-recorded webinars)

  3. Select Save & Publish to have your webinar live to the market


10. How to find your post-webinar analytics

  1. Select Audience to view your webinar performance

  2. Use this page to identify

    • How many Total viewers attended/watched your webinar

    • How many of the viewers were Hub members

    • How many New hub members signed up due to this webinar

    • Details of your audience including name, email address, their shareholding (if they are a shareholder) and whether they have watched the webinar live or the replay

3. Select Analytics to view the further details about your webinar performance including trading activity of your shareholder attendees.


11. How to delete or unschedule a webinar

How to delete a webinar

  1. Select on the webinar in question.

  2. Select the 3 dots in the right corner

  3. Select Delete Webinar

  4. Confirm that you wish to delete the webinar

How to unschedule a webinar

You may need to cancel or unschedule a webinar. If this is the case you can easily do this in your Hub.

  1. Select the webinar in question.

  2. Select the 3 dots in the right corner

  3. Select either Unschedule webinar or Cancel webinar

  4. If you Unschedule webinar it will automatically go back into Draft mode

  5. If you can Cancel webinar, you will need to confirm that you wish to cancel the webinar

You're ready to run your Webinar

Once you have created your webinar, selected the roles, shared the links you are ready to run your webinar.
