❓ What are investor communications

An effective way to maintain investor confidence and stabilise your share price is via regular communication with investors that avoids panic buying & selling.

Controlling and giving accurate and relevant information to your investors helps to reduce the cost of capital by giving them a deeper understanding of your company and the ability to project the company’s performance more accurately.

🙋‍♀️ Investor communications overview

To send any communications through InvestorHub, you’ll need to navigate to the ‘Communications’ tab under ‘Engagement’ in your side navigation bar.

Here's an overview of the steps you'll need to follow. Skip ahead by clicking on the section you need assistance with, or get started right from the beginning, let's get engaging!

Step 1. Creating a new campaign 📧

Click 'create your first campaign'

Click 'create campaign'

Once you name your campaign, you'll need to choose the channels you want to include. We currently only have the functionality for an email campaign but are working towards offering social media, SMS, and mail/letter channels in the future.

If you have existing campaigns, you can choose to duplicate these by selecting the three dots on the right side, and clicking on ‘duplicate’. This is an efficient way to leverage existing email designs from previous campaigns.

Step 2. Editing the content ✍️

You can edit almost every part of your email, and we’ve provided a basic structured template that you can customise to suit your style.

You can change the structure of the email by dragging and dropping content blocks onto the preview, which includes text, buttons, images, and more. These blocks are easily edited by clicking on them and can be deleted by selecting the trash icon. Once the blocks have been added, they can be formatted through the navigation bar on the right-hand side.

📍 TIP: contact fields are a scalable way to address individual recipients by name rather than generic denomination.

📍 TIP: To update the background colour, you’ll need to click on the grey next to the block you want to colour. Anything outside of the colour will not be displayed when you send your email.

Step 3. Choosing an audience 👥

You’ll need to select the audience you'd like to send the campaign (email) to. Currently, we can only send emails to your shareholders that have provided their email addresses to the registry.

We are working to include the ability to segment your audience based on multiple variables, stay tuned 👀

Step 4. Reviewing and sending 📩

Once you’ve finalised your email structure and copy, you can review your campaign by sending yourself a test email. This is a great way to check your formatting and grammar while seeing how shareholders will see your email campaign.

Once you’re happy with how it all looks, you can send that off!

Step 5. Viewing campaign statistics 📊

If you’d like to check out some analytics for your completed campaigns, you can view reports that will provide you with insight on:

  • Successful deliveries

  • Opens

  • Clicks

  • Unsubscribes

Comparing data between email campaigns is a great way to check the effectiveness of your communications, and can lead to better insights on how to structure your future campaigns for optimal results.
