What is manual distribution? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

You can manually distribute your previously released announcements or activity updates via the campaigns feature in your InvestorHub account. This is a streamlined way to engage and inform your investors in a timely manner following an important update.


Sending emails via manual distribution βš™οΈ

Now via InvestorHub, you can send an instant email notification to your investors of an announcement or activity update with the media link automatically included in the email. All you need to do is select the recipients and type a short summary of your important update and you're all set! Start by heading to:

Engagement ➑️ Campaigns ➑️ Announcements / Updates

  1. Select the media you'd like to manually distribute
    ​
    You can choose between your interactive announcements or activity updates by switching between tabs. To start creating the announcement, select "manually distribute" under the email column alongside the media you would like to distribute.

  2. Prepare your email
    ​
    Make sure to select your:
    - Subject line: We have pre-populated a suggestion for you. We typically recommend including the announcement or update title in the subject line.
    - Sender name: We suggest using your Company name (something recognisable to investors)
    - Sender email address: This will automatically populate from your email settings, make sure this is the correct email address.

    - Recipients: Choose your 'send-to' segments: either all contacts, or the segments you have created; choose your 'Don't send-to' segment. You can manually remove investors if you wish by selecting 'remove contact'.

  3. Draft your email content
    Now it's time to prepare the body of your email.
    ​
    We have included a template email for you to start from which includes contact fields for investors' first names, the media title and a link to the media piece. We have also included the unsubscribe link which is a requirement.

    You can edit the background colour, button colour, text copy, social media links or however much you like by using the content column on the right of the email.
    ​


Sending socials via manual distribution βš™οΈ

Now via InvestorHub, you can send an instant Twitter or LinkedIn to your followers of an announcement or activity update with the media link automatically included in the post. All you need to do is select the announcement or activity update and add in any additional content that you would like. Start by heading to:

Engagement ➑️ Campaigns ➑️ Announcements or Updates (depending on what you would like to share)

  1. Select the media you'd like to manually distribute
    ​
    You can choose between your interactive announcements or activity updates by switching between tabs. Under the Twitter or LinkedIn column, select 'Manually distribute'.

  2. Draft your social media content

    Now it's time to prepare the body of your social media post.

    We have included a template social media post for you to start from which includes merge tags for the {{ announcement_title }}, {{ announcement_url }} and your #{{ ticker }}.

    You can edit the content of the post and add in any additional links that you would like.
    ​

  3. Time to post!

    All you have to do now is hit the 'Post to Twitter/LinkedIn' button and voila! You'll then be able to track the analytics from your socials via the interactive media.
