Overview

Sharing your hub is the first step in regaining control over your shareholder demand. Leverage your existing channels to maximise the distribution of your hub and increase the likelihood of investors and shareholders signing up to your new platform.

Update your announcements template

It's easy to forget to include your investor hub link on upcoming announcements. To save you time and hassle, include the some information about your hub on your regulatory announcement design template.

Below are some suggested ways to update your announcement template:

  • Invite activity through the hub: You can include a sentence about your investor hub in the highlight dot points at the top of the announcement and in the ‘about’ section of your announcement template.

    For example:

“If you have any questions on this announcement or any past [Company] announcements, head to our interactive investor hub. Like, comment, ask a question and view video summaries on important announcements. You can find this here: [Link to investor hub]”

  • Add the hub as a contact: You can include your investor hub link in the contact details of your announcement template.

    For example:

“[Company] investor hub: [Link to investor hub]”

  • Update the footer & header: You can update the footer and header in your announcement template to include your Investor Hub.

    For example:

Header: Including an Investor Hub link to introduce investors from the get-go.
Footer: Reminding investors at the end of every page to refer to the Investor Hub.

Update your email address and campaign template

Step 1. Create investor email addresses

To distribute emails via the platform, you will need to add investor contact email addresses. You will require both a marketing email and a transactional email.

  • Marketing emails are used for promotional content.

  • Transactional emails are used to send important information, and are usually triggered by an investor’s action (e.g. resetting their password on the investor hub).

We recommend an investors@ for the marketing email and a noreply@ for a transactional email.

To add your email addresses to the platform, go to the Email tab under Settings on the left side bar.

See below of an example marketing email set-up.

Note. Investors will be sent emails from the default InvestorHub address if these aren't added.

Step 2. Design your email template

Now you can design your custom email template for ongoing email campaigns. Below the email set-up fields, you will see Custom campaign email template. Click Edit to get started.

Here you can customise the look and feel of your header and footer on your email template for all emails being sent to investors, saving you time by only doing it once.

For the header and footer templates, you can edit the following:

  • Colours

  • Logo

  • Company information (Address, company name)

Some suggested copy for email templates includes:

  • Example for regulatory announcement distribution: “If you have any questions on this announcement or any past [Company] announcements, check out our Interactive Announcements. Like, comment, ask a question and view video summaries on important announcements. You can find this here: [LINK TO INTERACTIVE ANNOUNCEMENTS PAGE]”

  • Example for non-regulatory announcement/activity update distribution:

“Engage with us through our Investor Hub, where you can create an account to engage with our new interactive announcements, see our own video summaries on important announcements, get capital raising updates from us and hear about exclusive [Company] events, and more [LINK TO INVESTOR HUB WELCOME PAGE]"

If you plan to turn on automated distribution, remember to complete the email template labelled Automated

Step 3. Turn on automated distribution

Once your template is complete, switch on automated distribution to make sure your investors never miss out on news.

In the side bar, go to Campaigns and click Settings. Click the Automations tab and select the Set up button. You can set up automated distribution for regulatory announcements and/or company updates.

Regulatory news: You can choose either the Manual or Recommended settings. Here you will see a list of all the announcement categories that can be automatically distributed and the channel of distribution. If you would also like to distribute via social media, follow the steps below.

Click Save and continue to finalise your selection. You will have a chance to update your email and social media templates before clicking Finish set up to complete the workflow.

Update your social media assets

Step 1. Design your social media template

You can also include links to the hub on your social media campaigns. We suggest editing the footer or header of your existing post templates to save you adding it each time.

Step 2. Automated distribution for social media

Under Settings in the side bar, go to the Social Media Integrations tab. Here you can include the social media accounts of your company, which will automatically pull through and appear on any future emails you send.

FAQs

  • Why do I need to set-up an investor email for the investor hub?

The hub will send emails to investors who have signed up in a few scenarios; to verify investors' emails, or if an investor has registered as a qualified investor the hub will prompt them to upload their certification.

  • What email should I use for my investor hub?

We recommend to use an email that you already use for investor communications so that investors know that these are coming from you. This might be an investors@companydomain or a no-reply@companydomain.

  • Already have an email list?

Update your audiences to send investor emails.
