Prerequisites: Email integration has been setup so that communications from InvestorHub are sent from your appropriate @company.com domain.

Outcome: Understand the automated transactional/system emails which investors receive, along with their trigger event and any time delay.

What are transactional email templates?

These emails are triggered after an investor takes a specific action. They contain information about the action they've taken, and what they can expect to happen next.

They are 1:1 broadcasts rather than mass emails sent to a group of users at the same time, like a newsletter. In the same way that purchasing a product will trigger an order confirmation email to that specific customer only, the same will happen for investors who actively sign up to your Investor Hub.

Why are they so important?

These emails deliver the appropriate message at the appropriate time, building trust between you and your investor.

Consistent communication improves the relationship with investors, and keeps your company brand front of mind. They're a great way to reward investors for their engagement and encourage habit building. For example, if an investor follows an article or another investor, they will value receiving an update when somebody has asked a question about that article.
