Overview

Your investor hub Welcome page is a place for shareholders and new investors to get some extra context on your company. This is a chance to build rapport with investors and make the investment case clear.

Setting up your Welcome page

To start setting up your Welcome page, go the Investor hub tab under Engagement in the side bar. Your Welcome page will be automatically offline before you have published it. You will be able to preview and edit the page or view the demo page; this will show you a demo of what your investor page will look like.

Editing your Welcome page

Before you make your Welcome page live, you’ll need to add some content. You can add:

  • Main Copy - The message that you’d like to communicate to shareholders sets the tone for their journey with the company, which can include links, images, or videos to make it more dynamic (required).

  • Banner Image - An image that reflects your company and communicates the team vibe. A team photo or images from recent projects are great examples to use here (optional).

  • Author Picture and Signature - An author's picture and signature can complement your main copy to add authenticity to your message (optional).

Once you publish the page, you will get a link to the Welcome page so you can see it live in your Investor Hub.

IMPORTANT: Once you publish your Welcome Page this will be live on your Investor Hub for all your shareholders to see! You can always go back and edit the page, but you cannot take it offline again.

Best Practices

  • Include pictures and videos

A Welcome Page is often the first direct interaction an investor will have with your company. Having an engaging and dynamic experience makes a great first impression on the shareholder and encourages them to participate with the other features of the investor hub like interactive announcements.

We recommend either team photos, photos of a recent project, and/or a video from the CEO welcoming investors and explaining the hub.

  • Ensure that spelling and grammar have been checked

A great first impression needs to be flawless and shareholders will pick up any spelling or grammatical errors. Taking the time to quickly review your main copy and picking up any errors will provide an easy copy uplift for your investors.

  • Improve the quality of your video content

Posting a video is one thing, but applying some videography tips and tricks can vastly improve the professionalism of your presentation.

  • Share your welcome page to your socials and wider investor community

Once your page is live, you will get a link to view the page. You can share this with your community so that everyone can see the extra context of the company. This could encourage new investors to check out your company and easily navigate to the interactive announcements to engage with you.

These are optional but we'd highly recommend reviewing these best practices to maximise the amount of impact your Investor Hub has.
